The Importance of Inflation in the Economy

Seven out of 10 Americans think that the economy is in bad shape. That number does not seem to jibe with the macroeconomic situation as we see it. Inflation is the most deadly effect on households, people's sense of well-being. And even if salaries are going up, their salaries are not going up commensurate to me.
