Cappon Market Forecast for January 20 22
The capbon market has been relatively buoyanty through 20 21, despite it being another y lost year for the insurance industry er. As we move to look at 20 22 and what we could expect going forward, already we see nearly 500 nd 50 million of issuants across cat bonds and private cat bonds. There's another 200 million dollars orth of a health related capbon from etna that will complete this month as well. We've spoken to some people who say there's a significant number of new sponsors out there who potentially could come into the market this year.
