The OC was on network television when before Prestige TV was really a thing, right? I think this was indicative of this kind of cultural sea change that was happening where people who'd grown up with indie rock were now at a place in their lives to elevate it. It felt like, and we just happened to be in the right place in the right time putting out what would, you know, I think most people would agree was our best record.
