Then there's six substantive chapters and you cover these issues of 17th century beliefs rooted in earlier beliefs like the Aristotelian one about labor and the environment. You move to a really specific case, which is Georgia from 1732 to 1750. And this was a colony conceived as an experiment, you know, one in which labor would be done without enslaved Africans.
