The Power of Walking Away
She was a dichotomous person. She's an amazing outlier person who could be incredibly compassionate, but she also pushed people really hard and put herself first. The power that hit me of that was she only gave me those three months off because she knew I wasn't bluffing. And there are so many people that don't have the power to walk away. They were not given a bank book at eight years old. They weren't handed a book on how to manage your money when they graduated college. We have generational wealth, but we have generational financial stability. That's a leg up that is huge and not everybody has.
