There's enough oxygen imbedded in the rocks and dirt to support the entire population of earth for a hundred thousand years. If we're going to live in caverns or domes, if humans are going to move to the moon and permanently inhabit it, they're going to need oxygen. The real scoopable partright is that the top may be 20, 30 feet covering the planet. i won't talk about terraforming, cause it's just so far in the future and so likely.
