What's the Point of Ecclesiastes?

The author of Ecclesiastes talks about the word hevel in his book. He says it's a word that is clearly the hinge word, the theme word of the whole thing. "I have these weird emotions from time to time where I'll be so overcome with the beauty of a thing"
