Zema Dena Nagatu is chairman of the Fairfax Africa Fund, a US-based investment firm working in Africa. He says there needs to be a coherent strategy by Africa to address the issue of poor air service if they want to transform their economies. In Europe, for example, any airline within the EU can fly to any other EU member country without restrictions. That doesn't happen in Africa.
