The last running back who sat out an entire season over a contract grievance was Levy on Bell with the Pittsburgh Steelers. People thought that Sequon Barkley might set out regular season games in order to prove his point. The NFL is under a new collective bargain agreement that runs through 2030. In a 32 team league, you're talking about 128 players out of more than 1500 players.
