The Douch Prize
Inventor Alberto santos dumont set out to create a steerable airship. He wanted to succeed where solomon andrea had failed in creating an airship that could be steered and directed. In march of 19 hundred, the french millionaire henri duch de la murt made a huge announcement. Duch was eager to see the creation of a flying machine that actually had some practical use. If at the end of five years, beginning on april fifteenth of the current year, 19 hundred, no one has won it, i consider my commitment null and void. The competition became known colloquially as the douch prize.
