In 1959 Timothy Leary arrives at Harvard and he joins the social relations department as a clinical psychologist interested in real life situations. And so there was a study in the US and academia followed harbors example. So you had this kind of shaky edifice already. They had all these superstars, they had a lot of money, but there was no there there in terms of a theory that was creating a new science or even creating a new department or do new discipline.
