The English Revolution

In 16 88, parliament revolted against james the second and invited william of orange in to be king. The glorious revolution essentially birthd modern britain. Some historians consider it to be the first truly modern revolution. But looking ahead even further to the american revolution, i very much enjoy a little anecdote that will serve to defend our english revolution. When john adams and thomas jefferson were serving in england as ministers for the new united states of America, they made a point to visit the battle fields of both edgehill and worcester.
