Nathan: It seems like you have a really hard problem in some ways where the typical things that people talk about doing to kind of maintain control over AI is like well we'll just sandbox it. I don't think we can basically just use traditional engineering techniques to be able to like limit its access to what it can do without human intervention, he says. Nathan: We're thinking a lot about the safety of these tools and especially if they're going to be used presumably to help write mission critical software at some point.
