What Is Country Patriotism?

CNN's John Sutter looks at four different ways of thinking about conservatism. He starts with what he calls 'local patriotism' which is a love of one's home place. Then moves to country patriotism, in which people are more focused on their local community than the nation as a whole. And then concludes that conservatives themselves are an amalgam of all different types of way of thinking.
