It's also a myth to think that the Dutch were super Calvinist, right? That's like a another sort of misunderstanding of the period. People who were in charge of the Netherlands were Calvinists. But there are plenty of people making money on tulips and who are from a higher social class who aren't Calvinists. So I think that it's a bigger concern about what society should look like and the idea that it shouldn't change too quickly.
