Whittering on means to talk at length about trivial things. And probably in a slightly unfocused way, a bit like rambling. A ramble chat, as Adam Buxton would say. I've had various comments over the years from people saying nice things about you. So it seems that people do want to hear what you have to say. People like your voice and they like your accent. What is my accent? That's a good question. How would you describe your accent?
A conversation with my (lovely) mum in which we generally witter on about a number of different things including some British history, ways of describing rain, different expressions for talking (like rambling and wittering), my mum's accent, what she thinks of this podcast and some of her podcast recommendations. Vocabulary is explained after the conversation and there is a vocabulary list available.
