Chapter 1: The Dark Hallway

The narrator recounts their terrifying experience in a dark hallway, desperately trying to gain entrance to a mysterious room where musician Zann resides. They hear an eerie cry from behind the barred door and receive no response despite knocking. Zann eventually opens the door, relieved to see the narrator, and proceeds to write feverishly while the narrator anxiously awaits.
