The Achilles Heel of Modeling in a Trending Situation

I mean it sounds like your model really kind of protected against even even the quick move and got you back in pretty good. But what about some of these periods of time where you just don't really make any progress? How does the model kind of work in those times? It's gonna work better when there's a trending situation right I think that's the Achilles heel for everyone are these sideways moves.
