The Deep and the Octopus

Revenge is probably the chief motivator of every character in the series. I think they did a very good job with home lander, simultaneously explaining why he is a horrible sociopath and giving us a little empathy to how we got there without ever letting him off the hook for it. There are other programs that have really dumb writing and poor morals that will do that kind of thing where, uh, if you like someone, they are no longer bad. It has a, an evil character that you understand how he became evil, but you're not rooting for him.
