Introduction
In 1187, Jerusalem fell to a Muslim army. Isaac Angolos knew that this would lead to the calling of a new crusade. The Latins had been in the Levant for 80 years at this point. If they could get their hands on the wealth of the Nile, then they could secure their hold on Utramea. But Nur al-Din got his men into Egypt first and used it to bring the Latins to ruin.
