Rails Migrations - Check Constraints
i've always been an advocate of data base constraints, even though i kind of conceded that these constraints may be fellt sort of academic. But then as i gained experience, basically anywhere i worked where they weren't diligent about using constraints, problems arose. And so it's not an academic concern, like those things actually matter, and if you don't use constraints, you are likely to develop actual problems. Ye. I mean, i think it, it's one of those, i agree. It helps to incode some of these good practices around common problems that can occur on a bigger data bases with a lot of concurrent activity.
