How Do You Prevent Anxiety?

If you do nothing, your anxiety is going to max out and it eventually has to go down. The exercise of exposure and prevent response prevention is repetitively facing a task long enough that the anxiety goes up so that it starts coming down. There's been some research to suggest that behavioral treatment does have positive effects on the amygdala.
