The Power of Poetic Reasoning
Matana DeWitt: Poetry can almost be the most direct in a sense of like interpreting. In Exodus 15 and song of Moses, they actually tell us things that weren't in the story. The poem is Moses crying out saying it was the mighty hand of God who did all these things. So yeah, it's actually a more direct way of focusing your attention on what you just read.
