The distinction was put into words so that the social scientists thought they could understand one another when they talked about it. The question is how do you find the attic reality? Well, you can go ask the physicists. We want to find out what part of our reality isn't created by the people we hang around with. And if you don't understand, they might hit you with a club like the Zen Master because at that point, further discussion is useless.
