Spengler and the Fallout of the Nazis

Spengler was arguably in terms of the copies sold the most important philosopher of the Weimar Republic and probably one of the most red German authors globally in the 1920s. The hour of decision once again was a raw success selling I think over 100,000 copies within a few months. Spengler knew Hitler not personally but he knew him in passing or he had seen him publicly, way before he was famous. Several other friends of Spengler were killed in the night of the long nights in 1934.
