Joe Russo: I think studios and producers look at things in this algorithmic kind of robotic way already. Even Steven Spielberg has made quite a few movies that aren't like that great he's always doing good stuff don't get me wrong but even for Spielberg there's no mathematical formula where he can just make a beloved cultural phenomenon every single time he puts out a movie right? He says the reason people go to see new movies isn't because they think it's going to be better than anything that they can get on Netflix but it's because they want to participate in a cultural moment in conversation.
