The Libertarians of the Mid 1860s 60s and 70s

Libertarians of the mid 1860s 60s and in the 70s were extreme abolitionists. Yet a hundred years later people on that same family identified the libertarians are opposing the civil rights act. Because of their commitment to individualism they didn't see a rights violation if some property owner decided to put up a sign saying you know no black people can be served here. There's this kind of blindness in libertarian theory even to the idea of rights respecting racism right like.
