The Parallels Between the Church and the World
The parallels between how the church has treated women go exactly along historical trends. The most recent example is post World War II, where we have women moving into the workforce in places they have never been before because their countries need them too. But then when those men come back from these dreadful war experiences and they're trying to normalize life, they start re-instituting the emphasis on women are called to the home. And that's exactly when it happened in our church as well.
