The Greatest Breakthrough in Lisp
Lisp was pretty useless on a tiny machine because it's basically uses memory. Memory is he iss the one critical thing that makes lisp cheap or expensive. Once you got, once youve got enough memory, lisp is really nice. And i suppose the great, greatest break through was the fact that when you started having integrated circuit chip, memory became so cheap. Nowadays, what it would look this computer i'm talking to you in has 60, 16 thousand times as much memory as the biggest computer in the world in when we had that one megabite of ram. So thereforei it's now completely usable.
