In a recent survey, 74% said they felt uneasy leaving their phones at home. 45% claimed that their phone is their most valuable possession. 71% scrolled their phones within the first 10 minutes of waking up; 61% admit to having texted someone in the same room as them before. On average Americans checked their phones 344 times a day, which calculates to once every 4 minutes.
