Karl marx was born into a wealthy, middle class family in trir in the prussian rhineland. He studied at the university of bon b o n n and the university of berlin where he became interested in the philosophical ideas of the young hegalians. After his studies, he wrote for a radical newspaper in cologne and began to work out his material critique of capitalism. For him, it's about the organization of power, ah, and the way that that material organiz nof power blocks freedom, equality, democracy and participation.
