i think there are three principles of thinking about our impact on climate that almost everyone will agree with, but almost nobody uses. So one is that we should think of what we call climate change as a side effect of fossil fulius. We need to look at the benefits of fossil fuels specifically neutralizing climate danger and could neutralize the potential impacts of rising c o two levels. And then when we're loking at the climate impacts of fossil fuels, we cannot assume that they are mostly or all negative, let alone catastrophic. It turns out cold related deaths exceed heat related deaths by a factor of 15.
