Functional Cognitive Disorder

To have functional cognitive disorder, one needs to have at least one or several symptoms of impaired cognitive functioning and clinical evidence of internal inconsistency. Internal inconsistency is the capacity to adequately complete a cognitive task at some times but not at others. This can't be due to cognitive fluctuations like delirium or dementia with the Lewy bodies. One of the things that's important is to be looking for inconsistency within the same function.
