I was insulated enough as a guy who wrote poetry and libraries in college and just wrote his heart out. I was trying to express myself, not trying to prove anything, convince anybody how so well there was none of that. So the, the, all the great press, I was grateful because I was just hoping after such a struggle. And then we took the last tour we did that, that for that, the last show we did was in the Las Vegas, Los Angeles at the Roxy in 1980. They paid the who paid for everything. You know, and I toured across the United States. It was time of a, you know, you couldn't make that up.
