Companies that are fully dependent on gig workers has gone up from 554 percent from 2014 to 2018 increased 34 percent in terms of people who are working freelance. 70 percent of them said they were doing it for work life balanced 44 percent of gig workers rely on that income primarily and they make roughly 20 percent less on average but I think there's just a shift towards the gig economy that was already happening, he says.
