The Future Generations Bill: A Look at the Challenges and Opportunities
The bill, which I don't know if you know has now passed from the Lords into the Commons. It's been taken up by Simon Fell, who is a red wall Conservative MP from Barrow Inferness. We are now trying to find all of the rigmarole, what Friday debates, because it's a private membership, where they can slot it in. The first challenge was just getting governments to admit that there's something going on and then the next challenge is doing something about it. But you've got to do those things in order, so that makes sense.
