"I had never really dealt with like mental health struggles. And all of a sudden, I'd find myself sleeping and until 10 or 11 PM," he says. "That's, that's not like me." After the appendage bursting surgery, his wife gave him an amazing support system. He was back to writing fiction in late 2021.
