The Conviction of Staying on the Line
There's that conviction of basically doing exposition, the conviction of staying on the line. Another conviction would be that of text and framework, which is what you kind of referred to. It's a simple principle that we need to let our frameworks be ruled by the text. We're not going to go below the line of scripture by diminishing it or taking away from it.
