Sony's Back and Pat Push for PS4 Games
Sony didn't have an equivalent sort of back and pat push like Microsoft did with the Xbox Series X. It's very similar is just that their approach required per game optimizations versus FPS boost, which could be done irrespective of that. I'm led to understand that this ability to patch the memory is something that works on PlayStation 5 games as well as PlayStation 4. So we could well be seeing patches from illusion to run on these older consoles that actually allows for unlock frame rates.
