We make our children weak because we protect them too much. And so they grow up being afraid, being weak, dependent. They don't learn how to overcome tough challenges, especially in the real world. I think it would be closer to what colonial America was than early federal America. The corporations following perfectly rational logic have begun to need less and less people.
