The Failure of a Zero-Pod Concept
There was a forward facing exhaust at Renault in 2011, which opposed my mind that we had it just a decade ago. There are parallels to that design as there are to the zero pod concept is still not quite right. It's an example of someone who was extremely talented, extremely, technically plugged in, who was involved with a very critical idea, and it ultimately did not work. All teams go through them - you can turn things around if you give them the right time and opportunity. The next year Kimmy Reichen won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for Team Manstone despite having this four-facing exhaust system on his car.
