Frank Herbert is advocating for a philosopher king which would not actually be in common among sci-fi writers. Titus X asks, in his short story, the rat Polish avant-garde writer, Vethold Grombovitz, who was greatly influenced by Nietzsche, provides an interesting counter-argument towards the ennesian concept of the overman.
