How to Develop Good Questions and Good Scales

There's a whole process for developing liquor scales and ensuring that they actually measure the contracts that we're trying to measure. And so typically when beginning to develop a liquor scale, you want to come up with a large list of items. Then based upon the internal consistency and things like factor analysis, you can use the techniques to then eliminate certain items that aren't consistent with the rest of your item pool. So once we have this final scale, we would want to actually deploy it and confirm that we have tests and retest reliability.
