The Negative Connotation of Skeptical Thinking

Skepticism in the modern sense is an inquiry. It's, I don't have certain knowledge, but I'm going to look for the best knowledge that I can get. The Greek root for skeptic means to seek, a seeker to inquire. This is really what it is about. Not an open mind as Carl Sagan famously put it, not an open mind that is so open that your brain falls off. That's pretty radical.
