The 1619 Project Pulitzer Center Resources

The 1619 project was originally published as a special edition in the New York Times magazine. Many Americans who look back on their history lessons of the United States and thinking about its inception, they may not have ever heard the 1619 at all. Lucia Hessel: My pick for this year is the 1619 project in cooperation with the Pulitzer Center's Education Center. She says it really to me was sort of a call to action, almost like a personal push to say, how does the enslavement of Africans that were brought to this land by forced Africans affect our basic human freedoms?
