Adrian Griffin has been in the league for 15 years now as an assistant paid his dues seemed like he was a hot assistant coach for a while. On the other hand, first time head coach coming into a situation that's going to be highly pressurized. I don't know how to make sense of it, other than to say it's clearly changed the trajectory of his coaching career. Now he ends up weirdly enough with a prime opportunity to coach one of the best players in the world.
