Would God Have Become Incarnate Had Man Not Sinned?
Sed Contra: A Podcast of Catholic Theology
Is God's Plan B a Plan B or Is It a Negation of Divine Simplicity?
Kim: Is it too simple for the scotest position to say that sin is based upon a negation of divine simplicity in providence and that it's a response to sin as if it were impossible or something like that? Father: Can we sort of give scotus a little bit more credit than that. Kim: I think one of the productive things about our conversation is that we've seen that there are a lot of oversimplifications with maximus' cosmology. The patristic tradition precedes the fathers on some of these questions so you know they're preceded by the patristic Tradition.
