The idea that you should go heavier in weight now most of that is for baseball pitchers quarter back quarterbacks baseball like hitting and using weights on the bat. So again, like I don't because you also find research that will like you just mentioned or even just anecdotal stuff that will say hey this helps. But where I would probably say that it could be beneficial is if you are able to throw a 12 or a 15 pound so that the 10 pound does feel light. If you make that sort of your training for this event you do run the risk of tweaking the actual mechanics in a negative way.
