The Impact of Excluding Trans People From Sports
When I was a kid at camp, I failed to swim test multiple times. But then they took me down to the pool when no one else was around and they kind of let me pass. In order to exclude trans people or trans women specifically, you have to police the whole category. This also disproportionately affects women who are already called too masculine,. which is largely black and brown women due to the way white supremacy works.
