The Joy of Ceramics
I was looking for an art class for my daughter and I at least lived down to the village on Sullivan Street. There was a place called the Children's Aid Society and they had some ceramics classes. One day when I went to pick her up I saw that they were having adult classes again so I signed myself up. It happened because my daughter was looking and then I just segued over to the Greenwich House pottery which is just a couple blocks away. And I just really got into it and never looked back. Just doing ceramics not going up on an audition where I had to think about how I looked has been the best thing I've ever done.
